Hi I've just started working on the forks of my 1950 Big 4 restoration project and hit a possible big problem. The fork slider are excessively worn around the spindle holes without I think enough metal remaining to ream and sleeve. I've been looking around for replacements without any luck as I can find no usable replacements where the chrome sleeve fits over the top and is held in place by 2 screws. I suppose my question is really are the slightly later versions of the slider compatible with the rest of the forks or should I look to replace the whole lot with a later set of forks.
I'd be very grateful for any help or suggestions regarding this.
Chris

Thanks for that Ian, I'll keep looking for now but at least I know there is an alternative out there.

These should be compatible with your Big 4 but at £189 each are not exactly cheap. Still, nice to see that someone is prepared to make these for us. I am not sure how long these have been in the Norvil catalogue. For a long time I was under the impression that the only new sliders on the market were for short Roadholders.
