Hi
Can anyone tell me the spec of the screws that go through the timing side, through the triangular plate and into the Dynamo body? There seem to be 2 screws and the other is maybe a rod with a nut inside the Dynamo?
Seems to fall into a gap between the Main-Smith service notes and the Lucas service notes
Its a 1952 Model 7 with a Lucas E3l
Thanks Doug

Doug,
If you have the Model 7 parts book they are shown on plate TA at the front of the book as parts 104 & 105 (slightly hidden at the front of the timing side crankcase).
Norvil use the same part numbers D12/966 & D12/967.
Stud dimensions are 3/16 inch diameter & 1.885" long, threaded 32tpi (BSF, BSCy or UNF) with 0.35" of thread each end.
Cheese headed nut is 3/8"diameter & 0.56" long.
Hope this helps.

Dynamo mounting studs
I believe the mounting studs are 2BA. Remember, it's electrical equipment, so BA is likely to be lurking around

There are 3 studs and 3 long cheese headed threaded round nuts. I will advise dimensions later but I was just going to order a set from Norvil for my Model 7 as they are listed on their website.
