Waiting for parts on other projects so have been looking at the jubilee, installed the Boyer and set the timing with a degree disc, loosely fitted new club wiring loom and got out wiring diagrams to work out what to fit where! I now have a reg/rect capacitor and Boyer control box to wire in. I think it might be easier to start completely from scratch.
I know the club loom doesn't have a resistance wire but understand that once you switch to 12 volts you don't need it nor the IE switch, but am not sure which wires to ignore, or connect, I don't suppose anyone else has worked it out have they? !
Here's what I am thinking…

Here's what I am thinking, the Boyer box has 5 wires, 2 go to the new stator plate , simples. The White wire needs a switched - negative supply which I think is supplied by the dark green wire to the coils. The red wire from the Boyer goes directly to the coils so I can connect that to the maroon wire that used to go to the points. (Or cut that out and just go their directly) and the black wire From the Boyer will also go there directly. The coils need to be rewired and joined +ive to - ive.
the regulator rect will just be a straight swap albeit with two output wires from the generator joined together.
The question is, will that work?!
Yes that should be ok I used a 12 volt twin output coil so the hook up is a bit different I also bought the loom which was a waste of money but having it I used it taping off the extra outlets good luck Bryon

Thanks Byron, Did you retain the I/E switch, I assume that the E circuit just won't work?

Dan Recently i had to get a new ignition switch from NOC the old onehad jammed and beyond repair The engine will run with the switch at I or E with the same rate of charge with the new system Bryon

dan That might be ok Iput the power box in the tool box and the ig box I zip tied it to the frame behind the styling panel with a number of ties I had seen this suggesed some where. I did this on the electra and after about a 1000 mile it has not fallen off. This might be a bodge job? Bryon.
