Fitted valve guides, spring seats are now a little large over the guide, do i need to buy the smaller holed seats, or not?? ,RGM state they are interchangeable, the plot thickens !

hello you should of check the condition of the valve seats before doing any further work has you need to recut the valve seat after fitting new valve guides I only fit the bronze type of valve guides and you can get valve refaced to if you know what you're doing you can do this job on your own like I do as I have some good tooling like a 10" swing over bed Atlas Metal Lathe and a Smart & brown Milling machine and make all sorts on this tooling do have fun yours anna j
Thats nice, bit i was talking about spring seats, the cup washer type things, now the hole is a tad large, I'll give rgm a bell tomorrow, regards Marcus
