500T dolls Head gearbox problems

Hi everyone,

Joined the NOC Last Year again, as I bought back my 1949 500 T besides the Commando 750 from 1972 I already own since 1984. Currently I am doing a part restoration of the 500 T.  I am in desperate need for a set of new domed nuts for the dollshead gearbox as well as a new kickstart axle ( very short, onl app. 100mm Long). For the domed nuts already applied at Ken Macintosh, but got No reply so far. Hast anyone any idea where to get these? By the way..  has anyone . . Hrmmm ..a 30 teeth layshaft kickstart sprocket lying around ;-)??? About any help I would be very glad.

Thanks a lot! That really helps me getting on.

I meanwhile found,that the outer teeth of the Kickstart shaft ( where the Kicker  crank is mounted) are heavily worn. As far as I know,that of the 500T is a special one, being shorter (app. only 9cm long) than the standard shaft with a different spring being used. Is there any replacement for the shaft on the market or any idea how to get the teeth reconditioned? I want to avoid the solution with a hole drilled between both and a plug being inserted...
