I want to change my M50, Lay down box, kick lever from a fixed to a folding. I have not been able to get any good info. on which parts will work. the spline is 24mm dia. and aprox.60 splines. Offset is around 1.75 inch. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Lloyd.

The kickstart shafts on the…
The kickstart shafts on the Laydown and AMC type box are both the same. You might find one of these works ok https://www.feked.com/kickstart-lever-norton-ajs-matchless.html the question will be whether it clears everything. There are plenty around so shouldn’t be hard to borrow one to see! Terry Weedy does a trials one that will work, but it’s a bit ugly! https://www.terryweedy.com/classic-kickstarts.html
