In case your curious, frustrated with your leaky, fragile champagne glass fuel tap. I bit the bullet and bought one from Asian vendors on eBay.
Buy it now at £82 turns out to be billed at £68. I went for the brass non plated one as the bike is not a shiny one (£10 extra for plated).
Fitted and left to stand 24 hours with full tank in the off position. No leakage. Fuel drawn through and left on 24 hours, no leakage.
The finish is good, the threads are correct, only slight issue was the main thread was not undercut to receive the circling for the gauze filter. But there is sufficient land under the thread to cut one.
Looks good, works well and now my chain guard can be painted yet again…
