I have just aquired a 1937 16H "project". Could any one please tell me the correct carb choke size etc for it? I think it is the civilian version.

Burlen/Amal list the 276 but not the correct 76. Feked listed a 76 last time I looked (can't remember if it had clip fitting...I think that could be converted if you have a lathe). As Nigel's sheet notes - WD dropped main jet from 170 to 160 at the start of the War, but then put it back up again. Maybe they wanted to save fuel, but ended up wrecking pistons?
