Can anyone clarify where you can get the hardened steel washer that is punched in to the sleeve gear and mates with the bronze washer on the main shaft these hollow in time but don't appear anywhere as a replacement.
I had an engineering firm machine three replacements to test but they clearly aren't as hard as the oem ones and wear fast. 24 tooth sleeve gears can only be found second hand displaying the same dishing.
Any creative ideas.
... have them. I got one for my ES2 a year or so ago. It's GEARBOX SLEEVE GEAR ROLLER RETAINING WASHER Part No: A2/319
Don't you just hate it when you search the globe for a part to find it under you nose.
