Hi
can anyone tell me the correct size oil seal that sits inside the timing cover I’ve bought one from a reputable dealer but it seems to large on outer dia
the engine is 1958 99

I've just measured a NOS Payen seal I have for 1949 on Model 7, 88, & 99.
Box is labelled: 9/16" ID x 1.065" OD x 3/16"
Payen Code is B 298 & size is:
OD: 1.063" (1 1/16")
Thickness: 0.185" (nominal 3/16")
ID: 0.563" (nominal 9/16")
