Tomas - Here's another shot that i found of the tacho mounting. It shows the plate and the rubber cushion mounts with the penny washers either side of the rubber. A close up will follow as soon as i've taken one. Cheers, Howard

Tomas - here's a shot from behind the Tacho and another from side-on. You can see the mounting plate and the rubber cushion washers. Also the penny washers and the sleeve nuts to secure the instrument to the plate etc. The plate is angled and has strengthening ridges incorporated. All the parts were genuine Norton parts used on all the early SS models with chronometric tachometer and the big headlight incorporating the speedometer. Good luck, Howard

Tomas - Here's two images of the tacho plate on the 650SS and 88SS with magnetic tachometer. Because the instrument had a rubber mounted movement within it they did away with the external rubber mounting. Cheers, Howard

Hello Tomas - The tacho mounts on a separate plate from the right-hand fork top nut. The instrument itself is held in two rubber cushions with large penny washers. I shall try to take a close-up tomorrow showing the back of the mounting plate. Cheers, Howard
