Commando

Finally got my Mk.3 nearly finished and trying to ensure oil is round the engine before firing it up. I have disconnected the oil line at the rockers and am kicking the bike over with the plugs out until I get oil out of the pipe. 

I have just purchased a 750 commando with a single my 2 concentric carb,it's is sotting the plugs up,can anyone help me with what size jets etc should be fitted thanks,Andy 

Does any one know the offset on a commando 850 mk2 front wheel.i I measured mine and got 12mm from disc flange to side of rim and 21 mm on non disc side from hub side to rim side .wonder if this is correct?

My kickstart is sticking down on occasion and sometimes not engaging with the pawl's every time. I want a look inside, got the outer cover off, but the inner moves slightly but then sticks.

I have done the RGM conversion to the smaller diameter master cylinder. The conversion went well, I have a milling machine, so was able to drill & tap the master cylinder perfectly before fitting the kit. 

Hello, does anyone know if there are any measurements for the wear limit of the gearbox mainshaft where the sleeve gear bushes run? I can feel a slight reduction in the shaft diameter. 

Nearly finished refurbishment of my Mk.3 and slightly worried about the amount of muscle required to pull the clutch lever in!
the cable is nicely routed and lubricated, with the adjustment as per the manual. 

I was needing to get four parts re-chromed as per my photo, and was stuck get reasonable quotes. My nearest plater was seventy miles away in Glasgow. They gave me a "cash price, no VAT" of £110 per part!

Hello, I'm stripping the engine to clean the sludge trap before sending off the crank etc for a dynamic balance. Can anyone please confirm what I'm thinking, that the pistons are facing the wrong way, the large cut outs are on the exhaust side.
