I have a 1956 19s, the frame I believe to be similar to the early Matchless AMC type ,
How do I remove the rear brake lever to inspect the return spring any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Hi Edward,
Try unscrewing the grease nipple. That's what I do on my 1958 19S.
regards,
Albert
Thanks Albert
Its so obvious I didn't try that.
It must have a grove in the shaft that the nipple locates into , can't get in the shed tonight got to go out and keep the piece.
Thanks again.
Ed.
