Re: My Inter restoration, with a picture

Forums

Hi all

I have had a busy couple of weeks on the bike and it is nearly ready to go away for painting. I am now back at uni to sit my final exams though so it is having to wait again untill my uni work is all done. However, in the the true spirit of being a student I thought it was time for some procrastination so I thought I would upload some pictures of what I have got done so far. I have sourced a lot of the bits on ebay and through this forum which has proved to be very usefull. I have made all of the mudguard stays and brackets, tank mountings, wheel spindles, spacers and nuts and loads of other little fittings and brackets, hence it is taking a while. But I am sure the end product will be more than worth it!

Thanks for looking and all the help people have offered so far

Andy

When you have all the big parts of a bike you think it's complete. Then you realise just how many small parts you need to find or make. Well done Andy, it'll be a lovely bike when you've finished.
