Hi all,can anybody tell me the length of the saddle studs please that screw in to the frame,i aim to make my own from stainless..

Hi Paul,thanks for the feed back it's a great help.I've just bought the saddle and springs plus some other parts for this rebuild and progressing slowly..
I made my studs 2" overall length which included a 1/4" long blank section at the top so as to easily startscrewing onthe last nutfrom within the spring coil. This overall lengthwill depend upon the verticalheight of themain springs.
