Ooops!

Just got my copy of the excellent Roadholder, bit dismayed about the picture on the rear cover stating that the bike is Serge Deret's Seeley Norton.

In fact it is Laurent Delattre's Seeley Yamaha!

Sorry! you're absolutely right, Please bear in mind that I rely on photo (and article) submitters to provide the correct info, Looking at the photo I now see the OHC and points cover of the motor. Nice machine though!

Also, doesMike Pemberton have a brother who refurbishes early Norton Single Cylinder heads?

In this months roadholder (page 5) is an appeal for the sender of an early iron ES2 cylinder head to contact;-

John Pemberton on 01257 471014 or 07715 200706

info@pushrodperformance.co.uk

Would it be yourself that needs to contact him?

I have spoken to Mike Pemberton many, many times and have purchased parts from Pushrod Performance when I was rebuilding my ES2 engine.

However, I was surprised that Mike was referred to as John several times, seeing that he is such a well known personality in the NOC!!!

I have been trying to gain support for better checking of Norton and NOC related items in the magazine before it goes to print but have not been successful; so errors of this sort and many others are set to continue.

To everyone concerned with the magazine

I think the magazine is a great read and appreciate the quality of its production and content .

Where would the magazine be if people like your self did not give their time . We would not be so well informed about the club and Norton .

John R ES2 and looking for a 650ss

@chris - I am not a rivet counter, and would struggle to identify the correct handlebar grips and levers on a WD 16H.

However, I am more than happy to volunteer to proof some of the content!
