I need to make the flow and return lines up to connect a later ES2 engine to my 1936 model 18 oil tank. I don't want to hack the original lines up as I'll use them when the original engine is rebuilt and returns to service. I've got the pipes on the engine side, going into braided plastic pip but no fittings to attach to the oil tank itself. Where can I source the fittings (and/or pipe) in order for me to do that and what are they actually called? They are very commonly seen on fuel and oil tanks but I've never had to buy them independently.
Many thanks

Try somewhere where they sell supplies to plumbers. Oil and petrol pipes use pipe thread fittings.
