Catastrophe averted... I've replaced the rocker seals. The bottom ones have a half circle section backing bar, with screw adjusters to alter the pressure. But the cambox feet stopped about 3/16" above the head bolts...
It turns out the adjusters are too long, and were sitting on the head! Good job I didn't over tighten...
I wonder how long they should be? One (maybe the one that's too long?) backing bar was badly bent after being overtightened (not by me...)
Has anyone has this? I suspect my adjusters are non standard.
