I thought Mick Hemmings was retired and had sold his stock to Andover Norton. I might be wrong. I had mine helicoiled forty years ago by a guy in Croydon recommended by Norton themselves and it has been fine but not many people like helicoils nowadays. Mick Hemmings did mine, excellent job, you will need to ring him. He bores out the old thread and welds a new insert which has the right thread, do not accept a bronze insert shrunk into a plain bored hole, eventually they spin.
