New owner of Commando LR/FB seeking advice

Forums

I am now the proud owner of a 1972 commando LR FB in what can only be described as project , but all there ,so I am told.I am looking for recommendations for a company / individual for an engine rebuild. It has a broken crankshaft, but came with a spare one. The engine had been stripped some 30yrs ago and not much else has happened since.

I am new to Norton ownership, but not bikes, having owned bikes continuously for over 35yrs. I am currently living on the Wirral, and would appreciate if anyone knows of any local owners clubs in this proximity

Thank you in advance
