Model 50 alternator repair/replacement

The alternator windings are burnt out on my 1960 M50. (3wire type)

I am thinking that it could be a good time to go down the 12v route. Can anyone recommend what new replacement type would fit this engine please. Alternatively any recommendations for rewinding.
