Hi. Just a new member but had this great bike since 1973. restored 25 yrs ago not used for 12 yrs. Anyone in the london area know of a good mechanic to get it running and ready to use again. Was working when I stopped using it. Thanks

What's wrong with it? Does it just need a good dose of oil and fuel and a little bit of a kick? It's worth doing yourself I should have thought - you'll have to be able to look after it at some time so you'll re-familiarise yourself with it.
The brake pivot pins will probably need lubricating (it'll have asbestos linings so avoid the dust...), and cables etc. And you'd better oil the top end well since it'll be bone dry after all those years. Tyres might look good but will be bone hard.
Are you SW London? If so, I'd suggest you come along to Surrey NOC and have a talk to some local members. There might be someone nearby who'd find getting an old bike going again an entertaining way to spend a Saturday morning.
It'll have coil ignition at that date I imagine - and 6 volts unless converted. So you'll need a 6v battery unless you want to change to 12v by adding a modern regulator and change the alternator wiring. But modernisation can surely wait until you know it'll run.
