Hi all,having trouble getting filler cap off.The butterfly fixing on the cap turns and holds the cap on, but when unscrewed the cap loosens but I carnt get it out of tank.any tips

got cap off ,after ,I am ashamed to say it.mutch leavering ,it came off.not to much damage.Just loads off rust.

I have tank caps that do that, the trick is to try and push the cap to one side which stops the innards from turning so you can undo it a bit more.
