Hi all ,the baffle inside the tank is loose at two points and moves around when shaken.Im going to seal tank do you think the sealer will hold the baffle or is it a case of removing baffle altogether?Also the gauze filters where the petrol taps fit ,can they be removed or do they have to popped through and new gauze fitted to petrol tap?Because of the sealer.

I work with a competent heliarc welder who repairs tanks with problems like yours regularly. Sealant won't fix the baffles and once that goop is in your tank it will be holy hell to repair properly. Find the leaks, have the bottom of the tank cut open, have the baffles secured, repair the leaks and weld the bottom back on. Half measures will be regretted for a long time. It will not be cheap but it will last. Find someone who knows what they are doing.
