location of VIN plate on John Player Norton

please can anyone tell me where the VIN plate was attached on an original JPN replica? Was it still to be found UNDER the fairing mounting bracket ( ie on the frame headstock ) or was it moved elsewhere?

Hi Desmond,

The VIN plate should be attached to the main frame tube underneth the tail fairing.
