An interesting website

I was idly scanning my bookmarks and came across it again. It's a cornucopia of excellent information on all sorts, written and maintained by a bloke who was in the motorcycle trade in the USA for many years. You (and I) may not agree with everything he says but it's all well reasoned stuff. His carburettor articles in particular are excellent and his short article re Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance is a gem.

It does concentrate on Japanese machines of the 70s and 80s but there's lots of general stuff there as well.

Thanks for that — some very interesting stuff on Honda's 450/500 twins.

I had a week's use of an original Black Bomber back in the early 70s and it was a really attractive machine, with of course the (almost) unique torsion bar valve springs.

However, after reading Mr Nixon's discussion of the issues that 50-yer-old examples will have, I think I have given up any ambition to own one now.
