I have recently acquired what appears to be a 68' 69' 70 Commando roadster. I think the frame is a 68' 126XXX. The transmission a 69' 134XXX and the engine a 70' 140XXX.
Doesn't have the additional frame cross member under the tank.
Any input would be appreciated.

So you have a "widowmaker" frame, better weld on the additional tube..
My May 70 Commando is number 137XXX, my friend?s Oct 70 Commando is 140XXX. So your guessings are about right.
