Hmm, still confused. Mine is a post 106838 gearbox with the oil level plug just below the inspection/filler plate, as in the attached pic. Still can't locate the drain!

Yes, I have those instructions. Problem is I can't find the two plugs, let alone the smaller of the two!

I think I've located the rascal (see pic) - nearer to the centreline of the bike than where I was looking, and lurking beneath a clotted mass of grass and oil!
