Featherbed Oil Tank/Battery Box

Forums

Does anyone have any close up pictures of the fitting to the frame of a featherbed the original type oil tank and battery box.

Original type featherbed Dominator oil tank sits along side an exposed battery. No battery box up to 1956.

There is a steel platform for both. The oil tank has two studs + nuts to hold the base to the platform, and a tag welded to the top to bolt the oil tank to the side of the tool tray. Sorry no pics

If you are talking about a featherbed International, it's all a whole lot wider. The oil tank has a much larger capacity, and it is through=bolted like a Manx oil tank. Same exposed battery
