Hello all fake or repro parts are being sold on eBay these are slimline mudguard sold as wideline mudguards and these mudguards are not completed there is No bridge peace where the stays fit and No wiring tags to hold the wiring for rear tail light most are Chromed poor chroming and No drill holes for fitting the mudguard so if you then by a chromed mudguard with No fitting holes it will rust after you have drilled hole for fitting the mudguard and wideline mudguards are being sold as ES2 fixtures in red primer but the mudguard stays do not look rigth to me, and the are now fake amal carbs so be very aware of fake Norton parts do your home work befor buying yours Anna J

hello yes too true mate, but you still get vendors trying theirluck on the unwary so you should allways do your research and update your self before buying and get to know what is fake and what is a genuine item, after seeing some Norton owners on youtubeand some of them have not a clue what they have, and even on E.bay some dealers trying to sell Norton model 99 as a 650SS or model 99 cafe racers for daft high prices, So when buying any vintage motorcycle all way check the engine and frame numbers and get the machnies history from the DVLA, you could well be buying a load of trouble, So be carefull out there yours anna j
