Exhaust pipe for Inter

Forums

Hi all, I just realized that the exhaust pipe on my 1953 Feather International follows a wrong path. I checked all the possible suppliers on the web and found two promising candidates;

Armours (an old name) and Feked. Of the two, Feked shows a photograph of what they have.

I contacted both and sent photos of what I have and wouldlike to have. I am now waiting for

a response. Does anyone haveother ideas or comments? I would appreciate any help in the

matter.

Thank you all Antonio at pagthers@wcnet.org

I got the exhaust pipe for my rigid inter from the NOC. It's very nice and fits a treat, not sure if they do them for featherbeds though. I've never had a pipe from feked but I got my brooklands can from them and it looks very nicely made.

Andy, thank you for the reply. The photos on the FEKED web site look good but when I enlarge

them they get trimmed off so I asked them to send me different photos to avoid umpleasant

misunderstandings. I did not know that the NOC (Norton Owners Club) had a spares scheme

that I would be happy to support. So, excuse my ignorance,how do I go about making enquiries about the pipe.

Thanks again, Antonio.

The Norton O C spares scheme had a batch manufactured of the correct diameter and contour for featherbed Inters. They are unplated but are spot on. I would recommend you purchase one of these and not from elsewhere.

Regards, Paul.

Hi Paul, it took ne about one hour but I finally found and ordered the pipe as you suggested.

I am looking forward to receive it and have it chromed (that is going to hurt). Thank you very

much for the feed back, my best, Antonio
