I am refitting the e/s mechanism to my Mk3. It had been removed by the previous owner, but I now have all the parts necessary to install.
My query is where do I attach the heavy-duty earth cable from the battery? The live feed to the starter is obvious, but where does the earth lead go? I assume that there is a specific point to which it should be attached (although I wouldn't be surprised if there was a better location, given Norton's other mistakes with the e/s mechanism!)
I can't find any reference to this in the usual manuals, so perhaps a Mk3 owner can help.

Fitted this last year . It works so well I have removed the arm from the end of the kick start crank to give me more room for my foot on my Hyde rear sets

Fitted this last year . It works so well I have removed the arm from the end of the kick start crank to give me more room for my foot on my Hyde rear sets
