Commando primary chain

There are a lot of poor quality triplex chains around. I believe the original ones are no longer available and sadly Renolds chain isn't what it used to be.

A lot of people are now fitting duplex chains, I believe originally designed for Mercedes diesel engines. They get good reviews from people who have fitted them and are availabel from the "Chain Man".

Chainman +1, Andy is retiring but passing the business on. I run the big pin Merc duplex primary and the simplex version on the timing chain.

If you want to stick with triplex, after investigation, Andover Norton opted to supplying a chain made by CZ.

I have this type fitted to my Commando to replace the worn Renolds (prob the original).
