According to Garratt....
OHV (50, 18, ES2, 500T,19) & SV (16H, Big 4) singles were balanced to 50%. Models 30 & 40 70%.
The copy I have is 5th edition and covers models from 1948 onwards. I don't have balance factor figures for the earlier Big 4 or 19 with 120mm stroke.
