The enamel badge on the timing case of my dominator 99 has disappeared along the road somewhere, I have a new one from RGM Norton, but I'm looking for suggestions as to what to use to stick it on with to stop the same thing happening again? I'm thinking of either gorilla glue or araldite, unless anyone has a better suggestion???
I've found RTV is strong…

Can anyone tell me how to get the original badge off? Mine is badly chipped so I bought a new one, which I plan to glue in with Araldite, but how to get the old one off?

Not tried as still getting used to my 1959 dommie but will need to do this at some stage after have run it for a while. I did however read somewhere, probably on this site, that you would remove the timing cover and place it upside down on an appropriate support leaving it in a very hot oven for it to drop out. If you do a search on site you may find the same comment. I presume the badge mentioned above dropped out with the heat of being on the road. Regards, Hugh

I've found RTV is strong enough for this sort of thing and can be easily removed if required.
