1957 Dommi 88 valve timing

I have the timing cover off to sort the Mag. out.

While waiting for bits to arrive. Might as well put on new chains ,oil seal and conical seal off pump ect.

Thought I would check the valve timing with a degree plate. Somewhere on this site the numbers must be but this is what I found with tappets set as normal.

Exhaust Opened 125 deg. after TDC and closed 35 deg. After TDC

Inlet opened 45 deg. Before TDC and closed 120 deg Before TDC.

The overlap on the idle stroke seems normalish (80 deg.)

Never checked a Dommi before and the Ex. opening and In. closing seems a bit unusual?

Any comments and real figures would help.
