I am in Australia and recently purchased this bike without the above and am looking for any pictures/advice on this. The original part numbers are for stand 19919, spring 19889.
I think the spring mount on the right side of the stand and fixes to the right side footrest and muffler locating bolt. Any info or pics detailing fitting would be helpful Thanks

Hi Alex,
I've attached a copy of the illustration from the 1957 Parts Book. Illustration is Plate MY. If you look between the numbers 44 and 45 you can see a double lug. Top lug takes the gearbox bottom mounting bolt. The frame attaches to the lower section with the two reduced diameter threaded bolts.
Note the lug on the stand to take the lower eye of the spring.
Plate JY is the 1956 frame for comparison which shows a different arrangement for mounting the stand and spring.
