Newman Cams can re-profile…
Newman Cams can re-profile / reface your cam followers and case harden afterwards. Also make new.
I had my 1935 Mod 50 followers re-profiled here - super job.
Quick service & reasonably priced too!

Thanks Andrew Ive sent off an email . Sadly both the guide and followers were very badly rusted together and it took some parting. Also the pushrod cups are quite badly chipped!

Stuart, I managed to source two NOS at an autojumble, but I have never seen them for sale on any parts dealer website. This is depressing news, as I don't expect making copies will be cheap, and what happens when they need replacing again? My local engineering company did say that they could "probably" metal spray and repair my old ones before I was lucky enough to find the new ones, but I am not sure how succesfull that would have been. Might be worth a try though if you are really stuck?

Are they the same as earlier engines? I had a problem with them on my '51 ES2. Mine had worn all the way through the hardnening of the face that rubs on the cam. I was unable to find any so had to grind them flat again and get them hard chromed. I have since picked up one follower at an auto jumble that I thought I'd keep as a spare. Not much help of you're missing the whole lot.
Have you got any at all? There are some listed here but look like they would need the same sort of repair as I had to do on mine.
Mike Pemberton lists some on his website but when I phoned him he didn't have any and had no imediate plans to get any more made... That was over a year ago though so it may be worth another try.
Regards
Andy
