With the help of others on this site I believe I have found the tank mounting parts and manuals I am in need of.
I am again asking for more help. I tried to find the parts in the spares list but was unable to.
I am look in for the part number for the 2 tall nuts that hold the head tight to the cyclinder and the 2 bolts that go into them holding the support rods from the frame to the head. I hope I did not make this ssound harder than it is. These two nuts are much taller than the other head bolts.

Nobody else has picked this up so I'll make a suggestion.Try Russell Motors (Falcon Road, London)for Norton side valves. I've never asked Les for a part by number because he knows his stock. He'll know if he has them. They have a web site. They specialise in ex-WW2 16H (+ other AMC and Norton) but the early bikes had no head steady anyway. So good luck!

Russells have just told me they don't have them at present - but the head steady isn't worth having anyway.
