I have never had as much fun on a motorcycle as I have had on my Big 4. Really. As Richard says if you want to ride at modest speed on country lanes (in great style and with a wonderful soundtrack) this could be the bike for you. You might need patience to start it, depends what you're used to amongst other things.

If your idea of 'fun' is lifting the front wheel as you exit corners and an adrenaline rush on every straight then probably, no...the Big 4 is not a fun bike.
They are well up to gentle bend-swinging on country lanes and quiet A roads and ideal if you fancy a Sunday morning ride around the lanes. They're not as deadly slow as is often suggested and can cover ground quite quickly with a bit of practice.
Is there no-one locally in the club who could let you have ago on one ?
