All,
Is it worth maintaining the balance pipes on my Mk2A resto / project?
Is there any benefit to having the balance pipe, over just two separate pipes?
Reason I ask is that the down pipes I have (with balance pipes) are rusty and I need to replace, but do I need the added complication and parts of the balance pipe?
Thanks - Paul.

Colin, John,
Thanks for the tips.
If I cant get new balanced - then I guess that somewhat restricts my options.
