That is why I said 'it had better fit.' I never offered it up but it was for the same as yours I bought it for.(57 pre F/bed)
I have to move a few bits out of the way to get to it but I'll do it ASP.
If you find any spare engine plates for the same machine then please let me know.
The service for these machines is absolutely diabolical, or sucks as Skip would say. (Our good friend in the US of A) God willing, if I live that long, I'll make it an AGM agenda item for next year. I've about had enough of it.

Have you looked in the Club spares shop I think there are still some listed but you might need to check the part numbers. Parts books are also available!
Just checked my M50 spares list for 1957, that says part number 19919. However my parts book for 1955 M50 and ES2 says part number H12/524 which the club stocks. Iâll let someone more familiar with the M50 to confirm, but that should fit, not sure if it changed for 57 though so might not be 100% correct. What year is yours?

I bought mine from the NOC spares scheme. It had better fit!
If anyone has a set of engine plates and a rear mudguard fir the same model I'll be pleased to hear from them.
