Is there a paper gasket between the mag. and the crankcase on the Dominator can't find any ref. to it in the manuals. Thanks, Campbell

Hi Donald,

None of my literature mentions one but Norvil sell 'Magneto gasket no. 067568'.

One came with my full set I ordered but haven't used it yet. If you fit one make sure it isn't too thick or the sprockets could be out of line.

Fitting one, rather than hard setting sealant, allows resetting chain tension without breaking the seal.

Regards

Dick

That magneto gasket or a triangular one with the three holes in it can be obtained from Steve Surby at AMC Classic Spares.
