hi can anyone furnish me with the dimensions of a toolbox for a wd 16h norton as i wish to make my own, i bought mudguard stays from india & regretted it. i have attatched a rough sketch of the dimensions i need & will be most grateful if anyone can help
Pete - nobody has come back, but is this square-on image any help? You might be able to scale it against the frame. If I get into the garage this evening, I'll measure it up.
There are two widths. Mine is prewar civilian. The WD ones are wider (i.e. so the side view is the same) . The WD catch is also different.
There are or were Indian ones. It's hard to see how they could get them all that far wrong!
thanks david some measurements will be much appreciated.
My civilized WD16H toolbox, which I believe might be the original one.
Pics of 3 different locks
The basic dimensions you have asked for are attached.
I will try and get a proper drawing created in a day or two.
