Hi, just in the process of restoring the above bike and I don't think the headlight shell that was fitted to it is the correct one. In all honesty I'm not too worried as I will be fitting it regardless. I wondered if someone could identify it please. Thanks Paul.

Thanks Howard, I didn't think it was off a Norton, it's easy to find pictures of 1961 headlamps but not the bare shells, I think I'll be adapting it slightly for the switches anyway as I'm fitting electronic ignition in place of the mag etc etc so won't be particularly original. Many thanks Paul.

Hiyah Paul - Ammeter hole looks a bit large for a Dommie and the Jo Lucas or St Christopher badge hole ahead of ammeter is missing. Otherwise it could do the job if the front hole 7 inch ? Possibly Royal Enfield if you want a guess ?? Cheers, Howard
