Nortons - General

I see all the Norton tanks on the Indian supplied tanks have the word 'Norton' blanked off.  This means we can't see the transfer.  Is this the dead hand of the new holder of the company name, demanding royalties from vintage parts suppliers?  So

Hi all. I am wondering if anyone has more than a passing acquaintance with AMC gearboxes. My bike will not change down from top, or I think from 3rd to 2nd. The lever moves but no change happens.

Has anyone got or know where I can get the correct brake light switch bracket for an early wideline featherbed? 

The only other one I have seen is suitable for slimlines only.

Hi all best way to remove old steering lock 73 commando 850 

My wife and I are looking to attend the International Rally in France this year but find bookings have now closed ( NB we were unable to commit to the rally dates until very recently).

Advice required please.
i have just fitted a new kickstart spring to my upright box, when installed the axel steel bush turns when kicked over so obviously loosing any tension, what am I doing wrong. Any help appreciated please.

Can anyone help please with admission charge and car park fee for Prescot Hill Climb and Norton Day.
Am unable to ride my bike there.
