Modern Nortons

Hi ,Can anybody help me  please? I have a Mk. 1 961  that originally ran very poorly at low rpm , I had  a power commander fitted ( a BMW 900 twin -same firing order as Norton) it has been running as the bike should have until last week when I got caught in a traffic jam and the bike got overheated and very unhappy. The bike will now not run cleanly at low revs or on constant throttle but will run perfectly when under load .

For better or worse I have just bought a 2017 961 sport. So far so good, it looks great, Sounds amazing (decatted) yes a bit lumpy but I new that and anyway I am used to old British bikes. So to the point, I want to soften the ride by adjusting the suspension, but would like the original Ohlins settings or setting for comfortable riding, can anyone help.

Anyone know where I can get a set of 961 cush drive rubbers? The parts dept at factory is still closed, and I’ve tried both Talon and Central Wheels with no luck.

The aftermarket throttle cover, used to hide the cables etc that was available some time ago... does anyone know if they're still available and from whom?

Just read a story that Mr Garner has been at it again. He has appealed against the pension repayment order. The outcome is that he has been granted permission to appeal.

The Right Honourable Mr Justice Morgan said " I am forced to give permission to appeal, respectfully we are just rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic".

I’ve recently bought a 961 commando and I love it! Unfortunately though it keeps letting me down, the battery is fully charged when I leave home but when I arrive at my destination, how ever short the journey might be, the bike then won’t start due to lack of power. I’ve been told that it’s probably the alternator or rectifier, but neither are my field of expertise. I would appreciate any advice or any recommendations for an electrics specialist, I am in Sussex. Thanks

Hi all,

My Dad's 2013 Sport tank has been attacked by the dreaded Ethanol and has severly bubbled the paint over the last year.

Shot in the dark, but has anyone got a 961 Fuel tank for sale, or know of anyone who can help with this ?
