Hi guys

Does anyone have the specifications for the springs in a sturmey archer 6 spring clutch? 1930 ish.

The ones in mine are of varying lengths and strength.

I guess not too strong so as not to affect mainshaft loading.

Hi Paul,

Martin Bratby, the carburetter man, makes and sells springs for your 6 spring clutch. I think he advertises in the Old Bike Mart. He is "old school" and does not have a website or phone payments, so you will have to send a cheque, postal order or cash, just like the old days.
