Hello Nortophiles, have a look at this steering damper. It was fitted, purely cosmetically, to my 1950 ES2 when I bought it as a restoration project. I now have the correct Bakelite arrangement fitted, but what is this, can you help? It is made of aluminium alloy and I would use it IF it actually fit my bike, but the spindle is all wrong, too thick. What's it off???
