So common sense applies. Don't let it get too hot, don't flog it hard in a high gear climbing a hill but let it run freely downhill. Leave off the prolonged full-bore top speed runs for a bit. Gradually use more throttle as the miles pile up. That's about it. I take it you are usind a good quality monograde oil. Don't forget to change it after a few hundred miles. Gordon.
